Choosing a research method is a strategic decision that defines the credibility and impact of any research project. This 3-hour intensive session demystifies the transition from research questions to robust methodological designs. Moving beyond basic definitions, we will compare the logic of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches through the lenses of validity, reliability, and ethical rigor. Participants will engage with real-world case studies and deconstruct several published research to identify the hallmarks of sophisticated methodology sections. This talk provides some guidelines for aligning research tools with scholarly goals.
